This interface is used when the Hospital requires a Pathology HL7 messages to be sent to the HICSS endoscopy reporting software from an external system whenever a patient’s pathology data is updated. This enables synchronisation between systems and eliminates duplication of data entry and provide a seamless process to view the patient pathology information within the HICSS software.
The Pathology interface provides an important step in streamlining the pathology workflow and reducing the potential for human error.
